Not too far from Siena, this Tuscan palace was originally built in the 15th century. Once an hospital, it was transformed into a private majestic home hosting a famous family of Siena in 1924. The estate is surrounded by 450 hectares of land, gardens and woods. Sitting close to the famous vineyard lands of Montepulciano and Montalcino, this is a perfect place to spend a fantastic holiday in the vibrant heart of Tuscany.
The property offers 700 m2 of luxury and artistic spaces and can welcome up to 24 guests.
You enter the villa through the main hall on the upper ground floor. The same very floor houses two living rooms with TV, a library, an office, a majestic dining area and 6 en-suite bedrooms.
Lower Ground Floor
On this level, you will find a big dining room where the guest can have breakfast, the main kitchen, a living room with a fireplace and a music room. With direct access to the garden, there is a nice terrace to enjoy food or a nice glass of wine. The main kitchen is only accessible to the staff of the villa that will cater to the guests. For the guests´ use, the house offers two kitchenettes, one on each floor. They feature stove, fridge, boiler, coffee machine and other utensils.
On the first floor, there is a hall overlooking to the majestic dining room. It offers direct access to 2 further en-suite bedrooms, one with a lounge area perfect to read a good book.
The same floor houses a so-called ´private apartment´ offering a dining room with kitchenette, a laundry room and 4 more en-suite bedrooms. This annex is perfect for kids, nannies or staff members of the guests. A fee-based laundry service is available, if needed.
Outdoor Areas
The villa is surrounded by a lush garden and a park that guests can enjoy. A private swimming pool (12x4m) comes with a pool house where you can shower.
Meals can be served in the garden under a pergola.
Notice that being a historical garden, some days of the week, public can visit the garden with a guide. (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Sunday)
